It is both an honour and a great responsibility for me to serve as the Principal of Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Bhagta Bhai Ka—a renowned institution committed to rural education, social upliftment, and academic excellence. Established with the vision of spreading the light of knowledge in rural Punjab, our college has been a nurturing ground for thousands of young minds seeking not just degrees, but values and purpose.Our academic programs are structured to meet the diverse interests and professional aspirations of students. At the undergraduate level, we offer Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Medical, Non-Medical, and Fashion Technology, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with major subjects such as History, Political Science, Mathematics, English Literature, Punjabi Literature, Physical Education, and Sociology, and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). At the postgraduate level, we run Master of Science in IT (M.Sc. IT) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA). Furthermore, the college also offers 10+1 and 10+2 programs in Arts, Commerce, and Science streams under the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), making it a comprehensive institution that caters to students from school to postgraduate levels.Our teaching philosophy is in full alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes flexibility, multidisciplinary education, digital integration, skill development, critical thinking, and ethics. Functioning under the management of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), Sri Amritsar, and guided by the principles of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, our institution is built on a foundation of service (sewa), equality, discipline, and spiritual strength. We are grateful for the continued guidance and leadership of SGPC President S. Harjinder Singh Dhami, Secretary Education S. Sukhminder Singh, and Hon. Secretary of the Local Managing Committee (LMC) S. Sikander Singh Maluka, whose efforts ensure the smooth functioning and future-oriented growth of this college.

We constantly work to upgrade our academic and administrative systems through IQAC-driven assessments, faculty development programs, student feedback, and performance audits. We are committed to transparent governance, inclusive access, and continual improvement in all areas.Located in a rural region, we are deeply aware of the barriers faced by many students—financial challenges, limited access to technology, lack of exposure, and socio-cultural constraints. Our mission is to bridge this gap by creating a nurturing and empowering environment. We focus on first-generation learners, girls’ education, and marginalized communities to ensure no one is left behind. Special attention is paid to mentorship, remedial support, and career counseling for all students.
