An Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) is a platform set up in schools, colleges, and educational institutions to educate stcudents and young people about the importance of elections and democracy. The main objective of an ELC is to promote awareness about the electoral process, voting rights, and the value of active participation in a democracy. By creating such clubs, the Election Commission of India aims to prepare future generations to become responsible, informed, and ethical voters.

Through activities like debates, quizzes, discussions, poster-making, street plays, and interactive games, members of an ELC learn how elections are conducted, why every single vote matters, and how free and fair elections strengthen a nation. The Eco Club of our institution plays a very important role in spreading awareness about environmental conservation and sustainable living. It motivates students to take part in activities that protect and preserve nature. The club organizes tree plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns, poster-making competitions, and awareness rallies to encourage people to adopt eco-friendly habits. Members of the Eco Club learn the importance of reducing pollution, saving energy, conserving water, and managing waste properly. By participating in these activities, students develop a sense of responsibility towards the environment and society. One of the major initiatives of our club is the tree plantation program under the slogan “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”. This slogan highlights the deep bond between humans and trees, comparing trees to a mother who gives us life, food, air, and shelter. Planting a tree in the name of one’s mother is a gesture of love, respect, and gratitude. It also creates an emotional connection that encourages people to take care of the trees as they care for their mothers. The Eco Club, through this unique campaign, spreads the message that protecting nature is equal to protecting our own family and future generations.

National Service Scheme, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Govt. of India, popularly known as NSS was launched in Gandhiji's Birth Centenary Year 1969, in 37 Universities involving 40,000 students with primary focus on the development of personality of students through community service. Today, NSS has more than 3.2 million student volunteers on its roll spread over 298 Universities and 42 (+2) Senior Secondary Councils and Directorate of Vocational Education all over the country. From its inception, more than 3.75 crores students from Universities, Colleges and Institutions of higher learning have benefited from the NSS activities, as student volunteers.

NSS department of the college has been a vibrant and active unit. It has been rendering various services to the society. At present, college has 5 NSS units with 300 volunteers. The overall objective of this scheme is educational and providing services to community. It is student centered program in which projects are implemented by NSS volunteers.

NSS department organizes various 7 days camp every year in which cleanness drives, blood donation camps, various awreness lectures and rallies on social evils are conducted.

Besides this, NSS has adopted a village Phaphre Bhai Ke, where our volunteers are consistently working for the upliftment of the village with respect to social, environmental consciousness and other aspects.
