IQAC

INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is an essential body set up in colleges and universities to ensure continuous improvement in education and administration. It was introduced by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with the aim of developing a system that focuses on quality in every aspect of the institution. The IQAC helps in planning and guiding various academic and developmental activities so that teaching, learning, and overall performance remain effective and systematic. It prepares strategies for excellence, encourages the use of innovative teaching methods, and promotes research and technology in education. IQAC also gathers feedback from students, teachers, alumni, and parents to assess progress and identify areas of improvement. It motivates teachers to participate in workshops, training, and research activities, which enhances both teaching quality and the learning atmosphere.

Another important responsibility of the IQAC is to prepare and submit the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to NAAC, highlighting the achievements and progress of the institution. This ensures accountability and transparency while promoting a culture of continuous growth. IQAC also works to upgrade infrastructure, classrooms, and other facilities to suit the needs of students. Its ultimate aim is to provide a student-friendly environment where learners gain not only knowledge but also skills and values that help them in life. By doing so, IQAC plays a key role in raising the standard of higher education and making institutions more efficient, effective, and competitive at the global level.
